from los angeles, ca: I bought this as a replacement for my basic revlon blow dryer that was 2400 watts. Although I tested the item in store, at home, at 2000 watts there was just not enough power to dry the hair before the frizzy ends started. I do like that the heat and power levels are separately controlled so you have flexibility and it is very light and not too noisy. But, in the end I need more power so I returned it.
