I have had several microdermabrasion performed in MedSpas and the same can be accomplished with the PMD at a fraction of the cost. You really do need to know how your skin is going to react and need to start with the beginner pad until you know exactly how your skin is going to react. My best recommendations are to not go very slowly or make more than one pass over any are. Do not use pressure either. In reading the low scores I find that most are related to how you use the product your skin is too sensitive for the intensity of the pain you are using. Start out slow, read the directions and find the path that works best for your skin type. Just don't try to start it too aggressive or you will be disappointed this is a great product when used properly and will make a difference in your skin tone if used regularly.
