When I first got this product, I HATED it. It is a VERY concentrated and heavy product. If you just smear some into your dry hair, it will grease it down and you'll have to wash it out. Now I have learned to take smaller amounts and apply when my hair is wet, right after a shower. If my hair is dry and frizzy and the waves are disappearing, I take some of this product and wet my hands down (this part is important) then with the watered down product, I apply it to my dry hair and POOF, the waves and curls come back.
Less is more and when in doubt, water it down. The plus side of this is that this product is going to last you a LONG time.
